OUR MISSION
We are very excited to announce the next step to making pickleball in northwest Florida the best and fastest growing sport in the USA. Emerald Coast Pickleball Club (ECPC) is a project we have been working on ever since our Labor Day Pickleball Tournament at the DUMC-Life Center in Destin last August 28-29, 2014. We have joined with our pickleball friends from Pensacola to Tallahassee, Florida for our inspiration and look forward to working together to promote the growth of pickleball; teaching the game; encouraging sportsmanship and camaraderie through fun and exercise. We encourage individual membership in the USA Pickleball Association (www.USAPA.org) as well as supporting our community organizations through volunteerism activities as representatives of the ECPC.
While working on the logistics of the Destin tournament we realized we were not getting the communication out or the support we needed because we didn’t have a website and a club. Well, we listened and now we hope you will help us make this the best pickleball club and website in the USA and promote the sport we love as well as our sponsors. Not only will we have our own club; Facebook group (Emerald Coast Pickleball Club) but also our own website to promote good communication and partnership in support on tournaments, news, photos, socials, calendars, videos on how to improve your game. Our membership will extend from Pensacola to Tallahassee but open to seasonal visitors and other pickleball friends who would like to participate; keep up and know more about pickleball on the Emerald Coast of Florida.
Our USAPA Ambassadors on the Emerald Coast have agreed to keep us updated on their local activities, events, calendars, photos and tournaments through this website and Club events. By including all the local pickleball groups/players along the Emerald Coast we are combining our efforts, sharing information and hopefully locating more places to play and encouraging new players. It has been said many times to our members that we are the most friendliest and helpful; best instructors; and most fun area to play the game. We will become the place everyone wants to go for a fun time learning and playing
pickleball. By combining all our players into one Club and working together we
have more clout, learning to play better and having fun.
